Summer isn’t just a regular season—it’s an opportunity for renewal, growth, and fun! ☀️
Here are three simple ways to make the most of it:
Recharge with purpose – Rest is productive since it can help you pause, reflect, and re-fuel for what’s next.
Idea: Take at least one day this summer without any meetings or activities to spend time without distractions. Find a coffee shop, a library or another community space. Bring your journal and reflect on what’s important to you. Our end of year reflection could be a good resource for you.
Continue your learning & growth – Much like in the natural world, summer presents us with opportunities to develop our skills.
Idea: Focus your attention on building a skill you’ve been putting off. Enroll in an art class, volunteer at a community garden, develop your AI competency, read a new book. If you don't know which skill to start with, here’s LinkedIn’s skills on the rise for 2026 to help. Also, check out our summer reading list from last year.
Strengthen & build human connections – Life and leadership can feel lonely these days. Aim to be present & intentional with your team, your friends, your family, and your community this summer.
Idea: Intentionally invite a group of 2-7 people to a fun activity once a month in June, July, & August. Whether it’s going to get ice cream together, taking a walk, or hosting a game night, making the effort to bring people together can bring joy, delight, and togetherness for all.
A successful summer isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters most, taking more time for joy, and connecting with those you love.
Annie & I wish you a lovely summer!
